About the work
Most women don’t even realize how exhausted they are - until they finally slow down and feel it. They've been living in survival mode, disconnected from their authentic selves, stuck in old patterns.
My work is to offer guidance back to the safety and aliveness within the body - through emotional release and the felt sense of ease.
I’m Elmira — an Embodiment Coach, SE® Practitioner, and mother. While surviving motherhood, I realized how disconnected from my authenticity I am, how little aliveness and trust I felt. So the work, that I offer, was born from a truth I had to learn through motherhood: You can’t fix the discomforts of life, but you can learn to meet them — with your body as your guide - and this is what creates ease, clarity and strength.

Somatic coaching supports women in all stages of life to reconnect with their bodies, unravel survival-based patterns, and move towards wholeness. It is trauma-sensitive, includes cycle awareness and the transgenerational burden on the female body. By listening to the body and moving stress and deep conditioning, a new meaning emerges. The intention of this body-mind approach is always about you - igniting YOUR power, creating YOUR lightness and clarifying YOUR values.
Sessions are available online (Zoom) or in-person in Lisbon (Belém). Available in English or German.

I’ve worked with women who navigated career changes, relocations, partnerships. For most of them, there is an orientation gap. Where the old is not a stable foundation anymore, but the direction is still unclear. So there is stuckness, helplessness and confusion.
In this liminal space, the body is the anchor. The nervous system is the map. And thus understanding and feeling it’s signals is profound work, and creates space.

Each session is rooted in nervous system awareness and trauma renegotiation — gently attuned to the unique challenges of transitions.
In online sessions, we might work with pillows, objects, or sound — tools that support your body’s natural regulation.
In person, I may offer trauma-sensitive touch (always with consent). This is not massage or manipulative bodywork, but a neuroaffective approach that gently supports coregulation.
Alongside somatics, I draw from embodied understandings of identity formation, developmental trauma, birth imprints, intuitive movement, and trauma-sensitive touch. My guidance is intuitive and attuned: I follow what’s present and guide you toward deeper embodiment and emotional expression.
This work is not about solutions or fixing — there is nothing to fix. It’s experiential, process-oriented, and paced by your unique nervous system.
While single sessions can be meaningful, real transformation often unfolds in ongoing support. That’s why I recommend a coaching package, where we integrate sessions with reflection prompts, body-based homework, and ongoing connection.

No. I don’t offer medical or psychological diagnoses. Somatic Experiencing™ is a body-based trauma-informed approach that complements, but does not replace, therapeutic or medical care. If you're under clinical treatment, this work can be a supportive addition. Just let me know so we can shape the space that supports you.
